Rising Spirits Anthology 2016

The NOTL Writers' Circle was created to bring together people in our community who love to write. Everyone is welcome and our group is diverse; novices to professionals, young and old, men and women, from a variety of backgrounds. We believe it is this diversity that brings vitality to our meetings. We provide support to each other through constructive feedback, encouragement, and friendship. We also share our work with the community through participation in public readings and publication. For us there is no greater power on earth to foster understanding, inspire, share our experiences, entertain, and allow us to imagine new worlds of possibility than the story. Our goal is to continue growing our reach in the community and spread the joy and power of the written word. The Rising Spirits Writing Contest invites residents of the Niagara region to submit short stories and poetry related to the theme. Winners have their work published in the annual Rising Spirits anthology and are recognized at the Rising Spirits Awards Celebration.
