Overview
What's Happening Here Can Be Felt by the Moon" is the culmination of many years of creative effort by poet and artist Marta Byer White. She has crafted an autobiographical work built on fantasy, memory and symbolism - a travelogue of the 20th Century. A twin and daughter of culturally literate parents, White navigates her life as a witness to the world and its drama. The world is her stage and her words and art are the actors. Color, nuance and form are part of her poetry and her boxes - the messages they convey simultaneously reveal a personal and political view of the past and the future. Marta's description is righteously emotional.
