Overview
Ray Ramecker, PI, is used to dealing with low-lifes: cheating wives, deadbeat dads, and criminal CEOs. So when an interesting new case falls in his lap, he's intrigued. A wealthy socialite from the town's best-known family needs help finding the son she gave up for adoption thirty-two years ago. The woman is desperate to find her son, so to sweeten the pot, she tells the world that there is a twenty-million-dollar inheritance to be had. Three men step forward, but two are immediately ruled out. That leaves Finn McCoy, a struggling writer with the body of a model and a conniving, money-hungry sister. Ray needs to investigate Finn long and hard to find out if he's the man he's been looking for.
