Overview

The goal of this book is not to overwhelm the reader by jumping ahead to astrological chart interpretation until the basic steps are learned in their proper order. This book and all volumes in this series, I, II and III, are written in textbook style with narrative chapters, practical application learning lessons, practice worksheets, quizzes and self-tests. They are written in simplistic language with helpful illustrations for the beginning student. This book can be used by those who teach primary basic astrology. In Volume I you will learn the signs, symbols, planets and houses with terms appropriate for the lessons. Volume I is an easy read and helps with getting a better understanding of what astrology is, how astrology evolved through the centuries, and how it works now. This is a text and workbook combined that lays out the basic foundation in a step-by-step learning process in a simple format and it does not assume previous knowledge of the subject matter by the reader. Be surprised at how easy it is to learn the art/science of astrology. It's a great way to better understand yourself and those around you. Astrology is based on "free will." The planets don't make us do anything, rather "as above so below" is the underlying motto.
