Scripting Christmas (Volume 1) is a collection of three dramatic Christmas presentations appropriate for banquets or gatherings. Although originally written as casting all females, most can be easily adjusted to include male parts. Song suggestions are included for the addition of music. It then tackles some of our own fears and inhibitions and encourages us to be unwrapped for Him. Emmanuel - 4 female parts, 12 - 15 minutes long Using the account from Chapter 2 of Luke, this Reader's Theater tells the story of Jesus through the eyes of those who knew Him. The message, God is with us, is woven throughout the story, starting with His birth in Bethlehem and continuing through His life, death, and resurrection. It encourages us to remember that He is with us today, in any situation we face. The Story - 5 female parts (includes 1 young girl), 15 minutes long The Gospel has long been called, "The Greatest Story Ever Told." In this lighthearted presentation, little Ruthie has asked her mother for a bedtime story. Her mother decides to tell her the story of Jesus. The script takes you to places and characters that present the story with their own unique point of view. Real testimonies added at the end will personalize this script to your unique audience, bringing "the story" home to them.
