Overview
Cory's life was forever changed on the night the high dragon burned his village to the ground and his family disappeared. He has to know why. Four long years Cory searches for his missing family and the answers he desperately seeks until he is thrust into the middle of a war against an army led by a ruthless warlord. During his efforts to protect the people of his homeland he is visited by a mysterious angelic being claiming to be a god of the old world. He confides in Cory that the dragons attack, his family's obscure disappearance and the war they now fight are all connected and the precursor to the return of an ancient evil once thought defeated. Cory is only left with more questions and frustration as war, disease, famine and petty politics drive a wedge between the people. The only thing he knows is that they must unite or they will fall and if he ever hopes to find the truth then he must rise up and become the leader the people need him to be. Rise of the Light Warriors is the first novel of a working trilogy. It is fast paced, action packed and full of powerful plot twists and mystery. The setting and characters are the true driving point of the story and for fans of fantasy both new and old.
