Learning Outcomes This training workbook will give you a basic understanding of ageing skin. The learner will work in a health, social care or education environment and will require an awareness of how the skin ages. They will learn about functions of the skin, common problems associated with ageing skin (such as friction, bruising, excoriation, skin tears, dry skin and fungal infections). They will also gain an awareness of more specific problems, such as pressure areas, cellulitis, staphylococcus aureus infections, MRSA and how to prevent and reduce some of the associated risks.
