Overview
This is a first compilation of poems, spelling out life as a father and as a Vermonter holding onto traditional roots in a contemporary world. The book is relatable to parents and grandparents, outdoor enthusiasts, and those seeking simple prose. The straightforward writing is sufficient to paint the image, yet deep enough that some poems can be relatable to the circumstances of various readers. From Their Cradles encapsulates daily life, taking a snapshot of the special moments and saving them forever, to relive again. "Brad, I just wanted to let you know that I'm about half way through your work/book and am blown away... seriously, this is wonderful. SO glad you made the considerable effort and took the risk to work on this and put it all together. It is all so well done. I'm looking forward to reading more of your work tonight. Keep going my friend, you have a gift." - Howard Krum, Author, An Animal Life, the series
