Overview

Georgina Holt is the daughter of a physician, with a talent for soothing troubled minds and mending broken bones. With his skills direly in need out on the frontier, they arrive in the gritty, harsh town of Direwald. Ruled over by a Sheriff with an iron first, she soon has her eyes opened to the reality of life far away from the cosy towns full of bustling life and glamour that she is accustomed to. Trouble begins in the form of Montgomery Vine, a vigilante and former Captain in the Union army. He arrives in Direwald seeking a criminal who has his eyes on the town, and will stop at nothing to destroy the man who resulted in his dismissal from the military. Will Georgina be able to tame the rugged and rough justice-seeker?
