I don't live in New Orleans anymore but New Orleans always lives in me. Whenever someone asks me where I am from I always reply "New Orleans." New Orleans is and always will be my home. This book, Life Below Sea Level is a selection from my writing about New Orleans over the years. This mental scrapbook where everything touches everything else contains fiction, non-fiction, poetry, prose- poetry and memoirs.
