Overview
Laura Gee is 15, when in January 1955 she leaves Nottingham, for her newly acquired employment working as a civilian, for the Government based in the Portsmouth Naval Dockyard. She is very innocent never having had a boy friend. Little did she know that, her first lead up to Christmas, an innocent kiss during 'The Mistletoe Run', with an unpopular but very good looking officer would awaken a passion in her that she could never have imagined, changing her life forever.
