Overview

Ride on an arduous journey with King Einar as he assembles a fellowship of close friends to retake the Northern Kingdom, a realm stolen from his grandfather by Iceland Trolls. Setting off on his trek beneath the harvest moon, he halts at the cottage of his future wife Astrid, a timid young woman chosen by the elders and dresses her under the guise of a young servant boy. Keeping her identity guarded from those around her, Astrid must learn the values of servitude while becoming versed in battle and weaponry in a rite of passage. While she must prove her worth to Einar by exhibiting the virtues of a queen; courage, strength, bravery and determination, Astrid questions her future with a king who is arrogant, self involved and demeaning. As this daunting adventure unfolds, Astrid and Einar discover there's more to each other than what meets the eye.
