Overview

Imagine being in a Bible class of about 50-60 people. Most people are regular church goers attending both Sunday morning service and Wednesday night Bible class. Of those present, we have Sunday school teachers, choir members, missionaries, deacons, and lay members, all of whom love God, their church and each other. The Pastor starts a very riveting lesson with a question that to me seemed easy but most attendees were stunned. The question posed was this... "If Jesus came tonight, even right now, who would make it to heaven?" The pastor proceeded to say, "All those who think heaven would be your home right now, sit on the right side." As the people pondered this, the pastor then said, "Those who think they would not make it to heaven, sit on the left." I was sitting on the left but to hear such a request, I got up and immediately started shuffling to the other side! Even though I was only 15, I confidently knew I was heaven bound! I looked around and surprisingly, less than TEN of us were in the group! Where was everybody? On the left side. ON the left side of the church sat most of the crowd. I knew my salvation was secure in Jesus. My question was and is, how can most Believers say they believe yet their actions say they have no confidence in their relationship with Christ? So I ask, Do YOU Really Believe?
