We are facing now a new paradigm: the cognitive production. This change elicits a set of concepts that puts in problem the way we analyzed the role of the contemporary museum. The hegemony of immaterial dimensions of work is at the heart of this paradigm shift. This new centrality requires analytical and methodological challenges to the Information Science and Museology.
