My Granny Is the Best depicts fond memories of quality time spent with a grandmother in another country. My children were born in Boston. But it was important for me to have them visit Trinidad and foster a beautiful relationship with their grandmother. The story tells about their experiences with their grandmother during summer vacations. The times spent were always special and intentional. The relationship between grandparents and their grandchildren is second in emotional importance only to the relationship between parent and child. Children benefit when grandparents are involved in their lives. That goes without saying. But grandparents also enjoy benefits from relationships with their grandchildren. The love and bond between them should cause all children to believe that their grandparents are the best.
