Overview
'Art Therapy for Dyslexic Children ' explores the potential applications of art and design in helping young children to cope with and make sense of the often confusing and complex world of dyslexia. Simplistic geometric compositions of interactive art pieces are experimented with in the aim of improving dyslexic children's problem-solving skills. Children respond well to these positive stimuli, which induces creativity and promotes self-expression and self-esteem. This alternative pathway towards learning allows children to find fluidity in responding to their environment; allowing an enhanced opportunity to overcome many days to day's struggles of dyslexia and improve their mental health and well-being.
