The Hard Way Out: A James Gang Adventure

Chris and Stella James think they have finally made good their escape from a mob hit placed on Stella. After a bloody debacle in West Virginia which left the bullet-riddled bodies of four assassins rotting on a mountain trail, theirs is now a life of marriage, travel and freedom, but they soon discover that freedom is not yet in their foreseeable future. While enjoying a visit at a dude ranch near Flagstaff, Arizona, they become aware of at least one stalker, and probably more, who they know is here to kill them. With the help of a new-found friend and possible ally, they attempt an escape on horseback, to what seems like a primitive, but usable hideout in the mountains, where they make the decision go from being hunted to being the hunters. Here, they launch a journey on the rocky road to putting this unending nightmare behind them. With countless twists and turns which can't be foreseen, this dangerous path leads them to new heights of fear and excitement as they are met with one deadly obstacle after another. Unexpected events lead them on an adventure they never could have imagined. The trap they set for the never-ending army of assassins dogging them slowly builds to a smashing and surprising climax that will either end their search for freedom, or cost them their lives.
