Overview
Everyone wants to be happy. But what is happiness? Are there kinds, dimensions, and degrees of happiness? If world peace and justice are reasonable goals, why not also universal happiness, or happiness for all? These are some of the issues addressed in this book, relying critically on accounts by Immanuel Kant, Hugo Grotius, Aristtotle, John Stuaart Mill, and William james.
