Overview
Like a modern Instagram or Facebook profile picture, Buffalo Bill's Wild West posters captured famous westerners and excitement. Part rodeo and part theater, the acts performed by trick riders, sharpshooters, and Native Americans were intended to give a glimpse of Western life to city folk, easterners, and Europeans. William Cody told his own story and others made "Buffalo Bill" America's first superhero through dime novels. Coloring helps many people relax. This collection includes drawings of fifteen wild west posters and three dime novel covers. If your happy place is full of thundering horses, snorting buffalo, and tall tales, then this is the coloring book for you. So get your colored pencils and make the Wild West your own.
