Kris Kietzman grew up singing and playing the piano. Her mother was a pianist, Music and English teacher, and her father a Lutheran pastor and college professor of History and Political Science. Her parents encouraged her to develop her artistic skills including drawing, visual and musical arts. She attended Valparaiso University. Family history has always been an interest of Kris's. The stories that come along with the facts and bring the history "to life" are what make it fun. Since Kris likes to visit with family and friends, these stories have been fascinating to weave together and relate to all of the family branches. This book is a tribute to both Kris's adopted parents and her biological parents, perhaps a thank you. In 1962 Kris was born to a young mother. It was best that she be adopted by a young minister and his wife in Virginia. This book tells the story of their lives and how they contributed to Kris's growing up and becoming a Christian woman with a husband and family of her own. Enjoy the stories she has written about her life and her family's history. There are some fun surprises included with some guest writers from members of the family also.
