Overview
This volume of short stories and essays is my second foray into writing fiction. My long active life includes many scientific as well as exploratory world-wide trips from the farthest northern reaches to Antarctic landfall. In this process of gathering information, I interacted with people of interest from Albania to Zurich who are the characters in my stories. These wonderful people personalized their culture, language, history, and customs creating unforgettable anecdotal material to pass along to others.
