The Atomic City: A Firsthand Account By A Son Of Los Alamos

Much has been written about the people and events of wartime Los Alamos, and a good deal of what has been written is misleading at best, if not downright inaccurate. Even as he entertains the reader with childhood memories, Rosens intimate knowledge of the elite players of that chapter in our nations history allows him to paint a uniquely personal portrait of some of the Manhattan Projects finest minds. As a native-born Los Alamos war baby, I find this book to be both heartwarming and redeeming.
