Overview
Criminal defense attorney Darcy Cole has his hands full. In the middle of one of the biggest cases of his distinguished career, an unsatisfied former client puts out a contract on his life. To make matters worse, Darcy is suffering through a midlife crisis. Although he is a successful attorney, he feels old and lost and weary, and during his frequent sleepless nights he wonders just what he has to show for his life. Darcy's beautiful, self-centered client, Lynne Tobias, has been charged with arranging the murder of her wealthy husband for the insurance money.
