Overview
An exceptionally full life is to be found between the covers of this slim volume, the best of fifty years of writing poetry. The poems unveil the life in this place and time, distilling from personal experience, in sometimes beautiful, sometime haunting, but always precise language, the only words fitting to each individual poem, in its own singularly specific language. Traveling through years with parents and childhood, religion, first love, marriage, the birth of a son and grandson, work and struggle into middle and old age, then, finally dying, only to to be resurrected to die a second death. Revelatory is the only word to describe In Transit.
