Conscientiousness here, though, is never dull, since Wright depicts taste sensations that become available when we open our palates to honeyed crickets, cicada jambalaya, and grasshopper kabobs hot off the grill, their crunchiness a forgotten reminder that humans have long enjoyed such delicacies.
