This book focuses on dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs), which are considered to be highly promising as they are made of low cost materials with simple and economical manufacturing procedures and can be molded into malleable sheets. These cells have emerged as a new class of energy conversion tools, which represent the third generation of solar technology.
