DSS consists of three primary components: user interface, computerized model and knowledge base. The applications of DSS encompass several domains, ranging athwart transportation security, weather forecast, aviation checking, clinical diagnosis and business management to internet search techniques, therefore through the integration of knowledge bases with inference rules DSS are able to present suggestions to end users to enhance results and decisions.
