Overview

The Acrostic of God is a playful, rhythmic introduction to God's character that helps children delight in knowing him from A to Z.Through catchy rhymes designed to be read, rapped, or sung, this engaging catechism tool invites kids to experience theology as something joyful and memorable rather than abstract or difficult. By pairing each letter of the alphabet with a title or attribute of God, authors Jonathan Gibson and Timothy Brindle create a structure that makes big truths accessible, helping children internalize who God is in a way that sticks.Rooted in the rich biblical tradition of acrostics seen in Psalms and Lamentations, the book presents a theologically rich yet age-appropriate portrait of God--not just to increase knowledge, but to deepen wonder and worship. With vibrant illustrations by C. S. Fritz and a format tailored for ages five to eleven, it serves as both a teaching tool and a treasured read-aloud, launching the Acrostic Theology for Kids series.
