Overview

Being a faerie princess was rough enough. Now that she's escaped the Tower and been made Regent of the Winter Court, Deor will have to learn who her true friends and allies are and who is working against her. Will she be able to tell true friends from hidden enemies before the Summer Court invades? Or worse, will her own father return from exile in the north to take back his throne? With Rafe lost at sea, Deor will have to rely on her wits and whatever new allies she can find. Maybe when it's all over, she'll have time to mourn. When Rafe washed up on the shore of Mont Saint-Michel, his first instinct was to get back to the Winter Court. But as he heals, he learns the monks there are protecting something much bigger than the Winter Court. With old enemies at home and a new Enemy in front of him, Rafe must rely on his instincts, putting aside old grievances for a newfound alliance. He may never find his home in the Winter Court again, but he just might be able to save it.
