There's a rhythm to her life that she's grown to enjoy: Work at the inn during the day, learn magic from her employer at night. That rhythm is thrown off when something new is added to the lesson plan. Suddenly, Ms. Poole has two more students to teach. Adora and Fabia are the daughters of the Dark Lake mayor and their witch mother, Shannon. They're wealthy and snobbish and completely out of touch with reality.Lady can't stand either of them, but when a murder hits close to home she'll have to cooperate with them to investigate.
