Overview
Half-elf, warrior, scholar, philosopherQuentin of Hamil struggles through a frontier world trying to recover from a devastating war. The sole-survivor of the battle that destroyed his country, he emerges from the ruin on quest for the answers to the mystery of his life: What happened to his loved ones in the war, how did he survive, what is his place in this new world, and how can he free his fallen country from the horrendous curse that forces the dead to walk each night in search of mortal lives. And through this battle to survive, lies the greatest quest of all: the search for his God. James Byles is an adjunct English Professor at Cleveland (Tennessee) State Community College, a singer/songwriter, a father to two teenagers, and a searcher in the Way of Yeshua Ha Natzarine.
