Africa is the most Christian continent in the world today. This ground-breaking book celebrates this momentous occasion in world history while it traces God's goodness to Africa in scripture and throughout history, clearly demonstrating that Africa and Africans have always been central to God's missional purposes, not an afterthought. Since quantity and quality are not synonymous, Africa to the Rest unveils the teeming potentials as well as teething problems of African mission. This African lead in global Christianity is only going to increase into the foreseeable future, thus these projections call for preparation in order to produce the quantity and quality of African Christians who will be faithful carriers of the authentic gospel to all nations! The future of the global church is African, this book matters. Yaw Perbi As a Ghanaian-bred physician, Ivorian-stationed United Nations peacekeeper, Chinese church pastor and immediate past president of International Student Ministries Canada, Dr. Yaw Perbi is a testament to the current wave of Africa(ns) to the Rest. He is the founding international director of Kwiverr, a consortium of mission organizations providing thought leadership and catalyzing movements among internationals. Dr. Perbi is a Lausanne Movement catalyst and global CEO of The HuD Group. Yaw is married to his economist-entrepreneur wife, Anyele, with whom he has seven splendid children. They make their home between Accra, Ghana and Montreal, Canada. Sam Ngugi Sam Ngugi's life was radically changed and took a new direction after he experienced the revelation of God's mission in Scripture. Sam and his wife, Harriet, founded Mission Campaign Network (MCN) & GEN12, based in Nairobi Kenya, with a vision to mobilize the Church in Africa to send gospel workers to the world's least-reached communities and raise the next generation of mission leaders. He is currently a Ph.D. student at Trinity College, Bristol (UK) where he lives with his family. Sam and Harriet are engaged in strategic mobilization of Diaspora Christians for near-neighbor cross-cultural missions in the UK and Europe. They are blessed with two children.
