Commentaries for the Common Man: The Gospel of John by Rich Jensen is an engaging literary commentary which tells the gospel of John as if from John's perspective in order to bring a greater understanding to the reader of the author, his times, and his passion for Christ. Rich Jensen didn't begin writing until his 60's. He began with a weekly devotional which was sent out on line and later in book form as WOW Weekly - Words of Wisdom from God's Word. This was followed somewhat later by a book for new Christians giving them a kick start into their new life and into Scripture titled A Primer for the New Christian. Then he was led to begin a new series of commentaries for the common man. The Gospel of John is the first with others to come.
