Overview
Battles will come. They may even challenge my faith. Battles will reveal who I really believe God to be. Do I really believe He is more than enough? Do I really believe I can be joyful always? Not only does God want to show up in the midst of my battle, He intends to prepare me for it beforehand. He wants me to win the battle, to be more than a conqueror, by coming through with a stronger faith, a deeper understanding of who God is, and a powerful testimony to others. Are you battle ready? When God Showed Up by Debbie Wood is a high dive into the spiritual life of a battle won. In spite of battling two concurrent medical conditions, including the diagnosis of stage four cancer, Debbie's already ironclad faith manifested into a supernatural joy and sense of peace. Before her eyes, God's omnipresence illuminated the darkness that threatened to overwhelm her. This book is not simply about her journey, but it is about how our God is one who "showed up" in powerful and unique ways during her battle to transform her and cause her story to be an encouragement to others.
