Overview

Reading through the Bible in a year can sound like a daunting task to the unknowing person who has not accomplished such a feat. But it is not a daunting task, reserved for only the elite. It is actually a very achievable feat to accomplish. We will spend routinely more time doing other endeavors without the slightest concern, than it will take to read through our Bibles in a year's time. All it takes is between 15-30 minutes a day, depending on how quickly you read and in a year's time you will have read through the entire Bible. In this book I have addressed some of the hindrances and have even laid out a couple easier reading schedules to help the beginner start to work through reading their Bible. Maybe you have children that need an overview of the Bible, I have that in the one chapter a day schedule that will take you through the "highlights" of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and is "children friendly." Nothing is more fulfilling than reading through the Bible year after year and finding our lives enriched with the truths we find in the Scriptures. Brian Ernsberger has been in ministry for over forty years. Having served in various churches in North Carolina, South Carolina, pastored in Washington state, and is now residing in NW Montana, pastoring a church there. He has been a student of the Word of God since his high school years and finds the need of consistent, systematic reading of God's Word to be something that is greatly lacking in today's church. It is his prayer that this book will encourage its readers to begin their own prosperous journey of reading the Bible through year after year.
