Overview
When Jack and Halley Donner turn up dead in their home one rainy Sunday night, few shed tears. But for Detectives Leon Simpkins and Art Dowdy of the Personal Crimes Unit, these murders are just the beginning of their problems.Their investigation plunges them into a circus of chaos: drug dealers with delusions of grandeur, con artists working their angles, lawyers who make the criminals look honest, a dirty cop who might be dirtier than they thought, a woman wrestler with a score to settle, and the unlikely duo of a mysterious dog and a diabolical monkey. Somewhere in this madhouse lurks a killer with deadly intentions. As if that weren't enough, the bumbling gangsters from Find the Money are fresh out of jail and back on the hunt. Their target? The missing million that slipped through their fingers. Their new hunting ground? From city streets to desert wastes. Their chances of survival? Let's just say the odds aren't in their favor. It would all be hilarious if the body count wasn't climbing. In this darkly comic crime caper, nothing is simple, everyone has an angle, and trouble isn't just knocking-it's kicked down the door and made itself at home.
