Overview
Morning comes, chickadees call to each other in the pines. The air is crisp, and fog has settled at the tips of the trees. Myra stretches her painful limbs; her numb booted foot bumping into something. She looks up. A wolf stands at her feet; its feral eyes bearing into hers. Scrambling back, she slides into Layrn and he yelps. Myra freezes, wolves surround them in a circle. Bloody bones!" she breathes."Myrianna Martenlander, commonly known as Myra, is thrust into a harsh and unforgiving landscape on her 16th birthday, when she is sacrificed to the gods. Myra and her dog Layrn, survive alone in the wilderness, until they come upon a pack of wolves. Will the wolves destroy any hope they'll have of making it out of the forest alive or will they be the anchor that keeps Myra afloat?
