The Scriptures declare that when one believes in Jesus Christ is given power to become a child of God (John 1:12). This same John in his first epistle writes that, even if we are now called God's children, it is not yet fully know what we will be when Jesus Christ will be revealed in His glory. But having hope of the future glory, children of God look forward to it and keep themselves pure while they live in this temporal abode (1 John 3:2).We know that it is an impossible mission for a believer to be pure in this world, because the world is fallen, and it is full of temptation. Even when one is alone in an inner room is prone to sinning against his God. Christian walk in this world is full of every kind of challenges. God knows the challenges that His children faces. He has made something so wonderful for them. He has come to live with and in them so that He can help them to do what is impossible for them to do by themselves.
