Fourteen to Fortyish: The Formative years is a collection of poems that traces the relationships of a girl of fourteen to a woman in her forties. Like the growth from girl to woman the poems in this collection also mature. Claudia Williams has written a book of love poems like no other. Claudia Williams began writing the poems in fourteen to Fortyish: The Formative Years when she was a young girl new to love and relationships and continued on into adulthood. Like the poet herself the poems mature with the different periods in her life. This collection of poems is unlike other love poem collections in that it addresses the failings of relationships and the blindness of love. In this collection of poems, Claudia Williams has captured the struggle of every young girl and woman with relationships and love.
