Overview

Air pollution is defined as the release of harmful substances into the Earth's atmosphere. These substances, which include particulate matter and biomolecules, can cause substantial damage to living organisms as well as the built environment. Climate change is directly connected to air pollution and solar radiation. Air quality is a concept that has been developed for effective application of technology to reduce air pollution. Simulated models of air pollution dispersion of a region gathered over a period of time allow scientists to predict unnatural weather patterns. As this field is emerging at a fast pace, this book will help the readers to better understand the concepts of air pollution. Students, researchers, experts and all associated with this field will benefit alike from this book.
