Overview
Padraig detests Ireland. Slaves sold him in this foreign land of human sacrifice. It is the pagan fortress where his wife died in captivity and his son was stolen from him at birth. It is there that he was kept in servitude, cold and hungry, his life less valuable than his master's livestock. When he finally escapes, his only goal is to put as many miles between him and the accursed place as possible.In Gaul, he learns a message of hope.
