KANJI PRACTICE WORKBOOK The Japanese art of writing kanji ((??), hiragana, or katakana characters is beautiful and precise. This notebook contains 120 sheets of genko yoshi paper, also called genkouyoushi or genkoyoshi paper (????, manuscript paper). Each sheet has 10 columns of 20 squares to practice Japanese lettering, the most common size. The paper helps students to learn correct spacing when writing vertically. It is also the main form of rule used by Taiwanese students when writing Taiwanese Mandarin, where it is called ???
