Overview
The thought of the Kingdom resonates soundly in Jews culture for they long to see their Kingdom restored to them according to the Scriptures. During Jesus Christ's time, the Jews were under the reign of Roman Empire and they asked Jesus Christ, 'If you are the Messiah, are you the King of the Jews? 'Even when Jesus was about to ascend to heaven and told those Jews who believed in Him not to depart from Jerusalem until they be endued with power from above, the Jews asked Him, "Will you at this time restore the Kingdom to the Jews?" In these last days before Christ's returns, the Jews anticipate so see restoration of a Kingdom like that of King David. Jesus Christ said His Kingdom is not of this world systems. Thus in this short note, I seek to exemplify what Kingdom Jesus Christ came to initiate and what Kingdom manifestation we expect in these last days as we usher in the Millennial Reign of Christ Jesus, the Messiah, King of kings and Lord of lords. These notes are intended to expose the truth underlying the mysterious King of God; when it started, what goes on therein, and how it will culminate in the end to be a physical Kingdom manifested on earth in Jerusalem where Christ Jesus will reign for a thousand years.
