Overview
A dark poetry collection that examines the depths of the depressed mind. Beginning with light, exploratory poems, the author experiments with writing styles and a variety of subjects. After a sudden turn of life events, the poems dive into a much more intimate and raw space. Not for the lighthearted, most of these poems contain trigger warnings for those with mental illnesses including, but not limited to, self-harm and suicide. The main goal of this poetry collection is to show how poems can help both the writer and the reader understand life's complicated emotions.
