Now, Kira finds herself escaping once more and no closer to the answers she seeks. And the journey to bring her to the mysterious Mother at a location called " The Cradle" has yet to begin. Book Three - Orphan's Rise: Kira finds herself coming to terms with her destiny as she trains and adjusts to life in the Gray Wolves territory while battling her feelings for Gideon unbeknownst to her, the young captain does the same. Meanwhile, the Fuhrer of the Auschlov prepares to unleash his secret weapon, an assassin commanded to put the nail in the coffin of the Shiva Empire and kill the last Emperor. Soon everything comes to a head and Kira prepares to make her way towards Mother's Embrace if nothing else stands in her way. Book Four - Orphan's War: THE WAR FOR HUMANITY CULMINATES IN THIS EXCITING CONCLUSION TO THE ORPHAN SAGA: Kira awakens from her brush with death and finds herself in the same facility that had created her. Along with Gideon, she meets Mother and another who was responsible for her creation. Still confused with her destiny, she sacrifices herself in order to see it come true. The Auschlov's secret weapon, the new hybrid born of the DNA of Kira is driven to destroy them while fighting with herself and the feelings that have bled into her from Kira's memories. Admiral Vanchig and the other world leaders are determined to keep humanity alive but others are not so willing to aid them. Gideon fights his own emotions and is caught between his love for Kira and that of another he is promised to as well as dealing with a secret Kira had kept from him for two years. As the battle for humanity begins, he and a group of warriors return to Mother's Embrace to destroy the secret mastermind who is responsible for starting this war long ago.
