Overview
Tommy, a failed comic, the Flying Dutchman of the London comedy circuit. Dead in the water. Alec, his best friend, lamenting, "I shouldn't have mates like you at my stage in life. I should have outgrown you years ago." Gillian, Tommy's girlfriend. "Little Tommy, stumpy knight on a white horse," sneers Alec. "You knights are supposed to slay the dragon, not let her move in with you." Martin. "I hope his soul is in heaven, Alec, because we haven't given his body any rest the whole weekend."
