Overview
Today, there are very few in depth critiques on the issue of Christians's use of alcoholic beverages. It appears that no one is brave enough in this modern environment to approach this subject for fear of running into opposition on such a "touchy" subject. The question becomes, "Why is this even an issue?" What are the arguments and Scriptural basis for the proponents? What are the arguments and Scriptural basis for those who are against the use of alcohol. To the best of my ability, I have attempted to address the major arguments and the major objections.
