A genuine friend is one who will offer his friend a shoulder to cry on. A friend who will intervene and assist during hard times. One who will intercede on his friend's behalf when it is most needed. One who will support you when the going gets tough. One who will always be at your beckon call when everyone else leaves you. Such a person is a "friend indeed".
