The vision of "Girl, Get Up!" is to encourage women to know their worth, take accountability for their lives and live it to their highest potential! The power within the GGU Community is that we bring together women from all over regardless of their race, religion, status or background. From the recovering drug addict to the doctoral degree holder, single, married, divorced and widowed. You'll find mothers to abandoned daughters, rich, sheltered, ministers and prostitutes. We foster a no judgement zone so that we can all help each other up. We break the stigma that women can not work, walk and worship together regardless of who and where we come from. You can sit with us! Our community deals with the day to day issues that women encounter from a real and uncut perspective. We address issues that relate to health, finances, relationships, business, motherhood, marriage, domestic abuse, substance abuse and so much more from a realistic and Biblical perspective! We open our lives, gatherings and programs to not only women but our teens! If we can get them "up" early then we can help them to bypass many of the things we had to endure. This guide and workbook brings together many of the topics that we address in our lives and gatherings. We laugh together, we pray together, we cry together, we network together but most importantly we "GET UP" together!
