Overview
Have you ever heard, "You are too sensitive!" or "Why can't you concentrate?" Sensational Sensibilities is all about the wonderful intensities our gifted youth (and adults) exhibit. These super senses can be experienced by many people, but seem to be particularly intense and lasting for those who are gifted. This educational tool acts as a lens to see how overexcitabilities can be experienced in a positive and productive manner - and even celebrated. It is important that parents and teachers have something that they can immediately use when working with gifted learners. This book and the accompanying Sensational Sensibilities card deck can be used to identify those super senses unique to each individual and provide ways to tap into these attributes in a positive way.
